Getting Blogroll Links

Yesterday I was looking at a competitor of mine and saw that they had a lot of links in the sidebar of blogs. Anyone know how to get these links or maybe a service that offers these types of blogroll links?

I've gotten some decent blogroll links on Fiverr. But contextual links are much better, try to go after those instead rather than blogroll links.

    • Didn't think of Fiverr. Yeah, I have buddy who's working a pretty large ecommerce site and he said they go after contextual links. Mostly through quest posts on related blogs. Are there other types of contextual links?

Guest posting isn't the only way to get contextual links. Using blog networks and article distribution services will work great.

There are services you can go to where you can rent the space, that is most likely what he did if he didn't do it himself. These High PR home page links are incredibly effective. Page Rank is how Google labels site that he trust. The higher the number, the closer of a friend he is to Google.

Think of the SERP's like Googles house party....and you are a PR N/A that google has never seen or even heard of but you REALLY want to get into his party (SERPs)

Would you rather knock on his door and ask to come in with a bunch of his really good friends who are all saying "He's cool..hes with us" (a bunch of PR3 and PR6's with backlinks pointing at you)

Or knock on his door with 100 trashy people that Google doesn't know saying "We heard there is a party here!"

Make sense? High PR back links are like having a bunch of Googles, already close friends, vouch for you.

Here is some testimonials of how well these type of links work.

Blogs are written on daily basis and there will be fresh content on blogs. All you know that all search engines love fresh content. If you will add your website link in blogroll then you will get sidewide link to your website from each page.

This will help you to promote your website.

If blogroll links are hosted on your website, your competitor is providing backlinks to other websites. Its not that hard to put blogroll links on your website. Some bloggers even pay you for this.
