Google Update?

Hey guys,

Went to check some rankings and I saw one main keyword of a specific site got hit and down from #2 to #7 after been there for many months....also other keywords of other sites moved one spot up while there are new sites I don't recall....

I guess Google updated itself or something, anyone noticed changes in rankings as well and other sites you haven't seen before on Google?

    You can see this kind of thread everyday. Google always update everyday, so don't get shocked if you notice SERP movement.

    • No dance for me, my sites are there for years....they are not new....but I guess if there wasn't anything major than it's Google's boredom....has to do something...
  • Google has not declared for any update recently.
    If a website moves up and down in SERPs, its not only because of its backlinks, but also for other sites' backlinks. If other websites are getting more links than a particular website, they will be displayed higher in SERPs.
    This is because of crawling and indexing of websites if they move in SERPs.

    I do not have seen any of the updation if any made by google. And if matter for the keyword ranking up and down then it might be possible due to some of the indexion and also due to the other site result changes and of which benefit you have get or of which disadvantage you need to face. So if you get your results up or down then it does not mean that major changes by google. And there has not any announcement been made by google or any of the google team member!
