Blogger for SEO

Possible to be successful for SEO using Blogger as a platform? I'm not looking to flip the sites, just make consistent income with adsense or other similar services. I know some of the downsides, like being flagged and taken down sort of easily which is a bummer. Just wanted to know if it's possible or better yet, if anybody uses any type of free blog service for their own SEO plans?

    Yea its possible to get succeeded using blogger platform and placing adsense on it.I had gone for a new blogger on a particular niche and then posted some unique content on it and then i had build some links manually.Links are from authority sites and within a span of 1 month i got PR 1 for that site.So i can assure you that you can be successful for SEO using blogger mostly with unique content on it.

    Thanks for the replies. It's good to know that it's possible, I guess that will be my main focus for now till I make enough from it to buy domains/servers and add Wordpress.
