Buy a domain that is not indexed by Google?

There is a domain that I am interested in. There is a rudimentary web page up. I see it in waybackmachine back to 2007. I don't find any backlinks.

I do not find the site indexed by google via site:IANA — Example domains. I read where this is a red flag, is that true? Does this mean it was blacklisted or deindexed because the site was never really developed?

I find this tool to be helpful in checking whether or not your site has been blacklisted anywhere: blacklistalert.org

I typically use it before I buy a domain.

I checked the site and got a bunch of ok's except it showed

      aspews.ext.sorbs.net Listed!

I clicked on the link but didn't understand what it showed on the next page. Maybe something related to spam?

Plus, I checked my main site with your link and even my own site showed all ok's except one listing with apews.org.

So, I don't know whether to be concerned about the domain I am interested in or not.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that that particular site will always return a listed result. Sorry about that. You can type in just Google.com and see that they will be listed on that site as well. If everything else checks out then I am fine in using the domain and have never run into any problems with indexing and such.

Say, you say you have bought domains, do you go through escrow.com or some such thing, or what? How do you keep from getting ripped off? (If you pay you certainly want it transferred to your name.)
