Trackback is a one type of link back in which other sites linked to this post .Here are example about it : If I put a link to your post in the article, you will get a track back. Trackback basically notifies the site owner that somebody has provide a link to his post on their sites.
The key use of trackback is as a remote posting method: If I comment on my blog about a post on your blog, my blogging tool will tell yours to inform you of that. Your blog will then show the extract of the comment that I prepared, with a link back to the comment on my site.
