SERP stuck

My site is stuck at #3. I'm thinking of adding new posts to my site which is on WP. Suppose my keyword is "run fast". I've used this keyword in my content and have optimized it. If I add more posts then this post will move to another page from home page. How will it effect my SERP?

  • If you are already at #3 then you are doing something correctly, so I wouldn't knock that content off the homepage just yet.

    What sort of websites are the competitors above you?

    • Two sites above me are difficult to be beaten. Example is that if my keyword is "nike shoes", now consider the above two sites are of nike itself.
  • If you make your original post sticky it will not move from the top position as you add more content.

  • Post panda brands received a boost in the SERPs so it will be tougher trying to outrank them.
