Wildly Varying Market Samurai Results?!

So last night I was researching a few keywords and found a few I liked.
Today I have gone to verify the search competition results and they are totally different to what they were yesterday.

Keyword1 last night had 307 daily searches, a 55% phrase to broad ratio and 15,100 competing pages. Only searching the keyword today has given the same results but the competing pages result has gone to 85,000 overnight.

Keyword2 last night had 112 daily searches, a 23% phrase to broad ratio and 13,900 competing pages. A search today tells me it has shot up to 77,300 competing pages.

Does anyone know what gives?

    Sadly MS has been all over the place lately.
    Some results are being pulled from Google, some Bing others
    from Majestic.
    I would double check with Google's Keyword tool until the MS team
    sorts things out (hopefully).

    Just bought my full access after a couple of days careful consideration as if I should go for micro niche finder or MS.. But I did go for MS since I know it from before and since it gave me the best assurance for perfomance.. And then I find that they pull info from bing, majestic etc and their numbers are completely in the dark with regards to googlenumbers.. sigh.. should I just put them on the shelf and pull out Micro niche finder? what would u guys suggest?
    Ps. im not a patient man when it comes to software, so im not gonna wait fom some solution at MS that might never come.

    I'd just go straight to the source - the Google Keyword Tool. It's much, MUCH faster than Market Samurai. And MS pulls its data from there anyway.

    Third party tools are less reliable... though tools like Market Samurai, Keyword Country etc give pretty accurate results. this might be temporary error.

    You can compare your stats again to check the difference.
