WP Robot Users - Does it still work?

i thought autoblogging is rather dead or at least needs to be done a different way. Does using WP robot still work well Post Panda? Is WP Robot safe to use - not to hurt your rankings?

Even thou the content comes from various areas, does it spin the content?

Would like to hear from past users of this software and if they are still using it. Were any of your sites hurt after the Panda while using WP Robot??

Maybe this is why the price has dropped so low? Is it still effective??

  • I am afraid that it doesn't work like the old time. Wp robot created duplicate content.
    The new algorithm of google is mainly based to destroy your rankings if you have duplicate content. I would opt out for an article spinner if you don't have time to write articles.

    • Sorry but this is misinformed and wrong.

      WP Robot does not create duplicate content, it syndicates content from article directories. If you don't have time to write articles it's better to pay somebody else to write them than spin them, or you could republish from directories keeping the author bio intact.

  • Wasn't aware that the price had dropped that much, are you sure that it isn't the $20 scam that you've seen.

    I'm still using it on several of my sites but never used it as an auto blogger. I've just added an article of my own to one of my blogs and within seconds added a couple of videos and an Amazon ad to the page. A big saving on time and I've made my blog post more interesting.

    I still use some of the better articles that WP Robot imports and build up the pages with extra content, but I wouldn't dream of using the spinner, not for my own articles and definitely not for the articles that it imports written by other people.

    • It's syndicating not copying and it's very easy to build up informative pages that offer value using content imported by WP Robot mixed in with your own fresh content. I should think that there would be more harm to long term business by unnaturally adding 30,000 backlinks to a site monthly than republishing articles.

      Syndicating is not duplicate content to google. Duplicate content is when you duplicate a page on one site. I've been using WP Robot to help build about 20 of my sites and none have been deindexed. But I don't autoblog with it.

      Yes it is better to have quality unique content on your site but it does no harm to use a tool like this to add videos etc to a page and syndicate the better articles. It's also about adding value and user experience not just unique content.

  • Syndicating is duplicate contents in Google eye. If you want your site on the first page of Google, you are better having a unique contents for your site. I stopped using wp robot after 50 of my sites deindexed by Google!
  • you can use it to syndicate article content, sure... but I think it's best used now for auto posting a related yt video into a stream of original blog posts every 5-10 posts ... if you don't have your own video, it can be good to add video embeds to your blog every few posts to help reduce bounce rates.

    • Yes that's how I've been mainly using it for over 2 years and especially with my music blogs, but every couple of posts and I like to tag an Amazon ad on sometimes. I think that adding videos has improved bounce rates and I believe that's good as far as Google is concerned. Saves a lot of time. Never autoblogged with it as such because I like to check the quality before posting. Also wouldn't recommend using the Yahoo Answers module. Imports a lot of rubbish and the comments can be quite offensive.

  • It definitely works great and I would recommend it, you can spin content and it works with TBS API
  • It works fine if you use proper plugins to rewrite your content to unique and include some rss feeds.

  • It's just like Patricia stated, WPRobot is fine for syndicating content and works well if what you want to do is add some interesting content and variety to a blog or website. Autoblogging option/feature using WPRobot or any other service or application will eventually get you slapped by Google but besides a slap it is pretty useless as a traffic tool and even worse at conversions. Autoblogging service in and of itself serves no useful purpose and if you truly would like to increase traffic or conversion traffic on your affiliate site consider learning about content curation...and before some fellow warrior starts flaming me, content curation gets mad love from google, but like syndication it is a means and not an end. In other words, success with this method comes with mixing curated content (w/attribution) with original content and some time to have the site content optimized...you stand a much better chance of success with conversion traffic with this approach than using a tool like wprobot to autoblog and spin the content with the best spinner or other service spinner.
  • WP Robot is excellent and is still useful. You can use subscription based spinning API's with it which allow you to create relatively unique content.

    If you're syndicating content and posting it to your blogs then it's probably the best product for doing this reliably.
  • i think it is about bounced rate (which is an indication of quality and usability to the user) and backlinks to the post / content.
  • It is always advantageous if you yourself write your own articles, manually crafted and not spinned articles, that shares your views, and your heart as well. Using such robots, for whatever purpose, does not reflect blogger's sincerity, that will soon be felt by the readers of your blog, no matter how crafty you are.

  • In the current scenario, I reccommend staying away from wp robot, as it may not do any good as before.
