Do you think SEO is tedious?

I am doing SEO and building back links daily from directories, social bookmarking and forum commenting, it is tedious but writing article and blog commenting on different blogs is quite interesting, would like to know your opinion?

    It can be. Sometimes I'll be at the office till 2 am working on just Build My Rank queuing up a lot of posts for the week and that takes me hours and hours. And that's working on three websites together.

    That's why people outsource. It saves a lot of time and you're able to expand your business even further. SEO isn't easy. Everything pays off though as long as you stay focused, you don't point fingers on why this, that, etc. doesn't work, and that you properly plan your strategy and execution. Also have patience!

    One of the members here Yukon, taught me to not have all your traffic from SEO either. Therefore diversifying such as youtube/twitter/etc. is a good thing as well.

      Submit as backlinks? Dude just go to ezinearticles.com, articlebase.com.

    Guest blogging is always awesome. you can get related in page back links. which are high PR and also Do follow.
    but Back links from forums and blog comments are also valuable because they are also Links actually

    SEO is not tedious rather it is a continuous work, needs focus and determination. Since you are not one who is targeting the keyword but thousands others are also targeting the same keyword, so if you managed to stay ahead you will win otherwise someone else will win the top 10 spot.

    Every work is tedious as if it not it not a work. Remember the Equation of work, it is not a work if it has not consumed energy, and loss of energy makes us tired. Are we still thinking SEO as tedious?

    It can be tedious, but I find certain aspects more so than others. Although submitting articles to Web 2.0's, article directories is time consuming, you know most of the time they will be indexed and you will get some traffic and a backlink.

    However, I find blog commenting extremely frustrating. It can be hard to find blogs to comment on at times, and you never know if it will be accepted or not! The number of times I have written worthwhile comments which contribute to the post and haven't been accepted is staggering (even worse when other peoples' comments say something like "Thanks for posting", or "Great article, well done")

    SEO does involve some work but you can always outsource. I spend most of my time on content and outsource backlinking.
