Don't start to quickly with any posts or backlinks...as long as you work organically you will be fine at the beginning. Keep posts to a few good quality ones a week, spin them properly for article submission - do your SEO properly and don't over saturate your keywords (about 2-4% is good) as long as you don't go nuts all will be well.

There is absolutely no need to spin articles for submission to article directories, and certainly not if one has any hope of their being published on high-quality, reputable sites for powerful backlinks.

There are many good arguments against spinning which are particularly pertinent to anyone with a concern for the long-term efficacy of their SEO efforts. Namely that poorly spun articles stand little hope of ever being published on sites with reasonable authority, and they will not attract natural backlinks. And a paucity of contextually relevant backlinks from high-authority sites isn't exactly going to put you in good stead, SEO-wise, in the long term.

I would urge anyone who is concerned for their SEO not to try to manipulate the search-engines with technical gimmicks and flash trickery. It is precisely the thing Google is becoming wise to and the very reason why the ongoing Panda updates have seen many sites' rankings dive into oblivion while others, whose webmasters did things "properly" and professionally, continue to hold steady or even rise to fill vacancies left by fallen competitors.

Only crap content can cause it I guess. Just don't worry about it.
If you have good quality content and not some auto generated stuff, then you have nothing to worry about.
I have tried everything to get sandboxed (I mean as a test, I'm not crazy), like thousands of backlinks with a brand new domain and nothing (apart from google dance) really happened.

You CANNOT stop your website from being sandboxed, if it happens, it happens, end of story.

Are these steps for setting up a wordpress blog pretty accurate
and good for seo & ranking a new site.

I plan on installing one of these plugins.

Bookmark & Sharing: ShareThis - AddToAny - sexybookmarks

SEO Plugins: All In One SEO - Easy WP SEO - SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2

    Rating System: GD Star Rating

RSS & Newsltters: Aweber Or Feed burner

Then once the above plugins are installed I plan on writing short & quality
    SEO optimized post for coupons.

Then install Google XML Sitemaps & Google Analytics for tracking & indexing.

Then I plan on pinging it using Blog and Ping Tool - Use Pingler.com to Drive Traffic your Blogs and Websites

Then submit its RSS feeds using RSS Feed Generator and XML Creator online on BulkPing.com

Then I will social bookmark it with IMAutomator or SocialAdr - Social Media Marketing Services

Here's some questions I have before I start all this.

1.How many post can I ping in a hour & would I be beter off pinging a bunch at once instead of individually for each post.

2.I will be drip feeding my backlinks to make it look more natural, but how many would be safe to do in
24 Hr's to keep it safe & not raise red flags with google.

    3. Would using social bookmark tools be safe to use, if so which one of these would be the
safest one to use with google IMAutomator or SocialAdr - Social Media Marketing Services

    4. Which of the above plugins be the best one to use.

      Hi,

I'm curious as well on which plugins to use. I am new to Wordpress and I really have no idea. I wish it was more user friendly for beginners. I'm wondering how to install some of the programs. When I installed the "All in one SEO pack" it would not allow me to activate it without configuring the plugin? I new to all this - so no clue how to configure a plugin!

Here's my advice: I would skip pinging the site. If you're building backlinks pings will be redundant, and could lower your trust score in google.

I would integrate social media bookmarks BEFORE the waves of back links, not after.

I would not judge my posts by how many can be submitted per hour, but rather by how many can be submitted per week. Cap it at 10/week for the first month, 20/week the second... and then go wild.

Have a diverse link building portfolio. Drip feed your links slowly and don't over due it at first.

      which makes sense.

you pros who have actually used some of them.

Look into a plugin called SEO Smart Links to help out with in-domain linking of you don't want to do it manually OR Yet Another Related Posts plugin will do the same.

Keep adding unique content and don't do any aggressive link building until your site has been indexed for at least 6 months, Google is getting a lot tougher on newer sites of late.

"SEO Smart Links" anyone else think it's the best one for SEO.

When you first start out, make sure you are only making a few backlinks at the beginning. once your website is a few months old then you can create more.

It's safe to buy links, but don't ping them. Let google find them naturally. After a few months then you can ping those backlinks and watch your rankings soar

If your site(s) have been suffering the sandbox-like effect for years then I'm afraid it's much more likely that your site was penalised as opposed to "sandboxed". Submitting them for reinclusion will likely go some way to providing an answer.

I'm building a major coupon site for us retailers
posting 6-10 post a month will take forever.

These will be short post about coupon discounts like
save 50% off of shirts etc & not long articles.
