We are building a new SERP checking tool and looking for input.

We are checking the top 100 results from google.com and 20+ google regions and recording current, previous, and last SERP results. We also allow you to input 3 competitor domains.

Please check out the tool and let us know what you think so far.

---------------

The site is live. Scroll down for the latest comments, but you can find the site here: serppagerank.com

Example screen shot which shows change in rank, your domain and competitor highlighting. I also filled in the exact search values for reference.

  • yes, please include regional

    .co.uk for me!

Just had to get a refund on a popular tool as its incapable of handling .co.uk

    • Would you want regional assigned per domain or keyword? For example, for a particular domain would you always want all the keywords checked against the regional google search, or would you ever want to check on keyword for on region and another keyword for another region?

We will let users set everything up so they can just come back daily and click a few buttons.

  • Far to fiddly to do it on a keyword basis

Cant see the point either, if you are interested in regional SERPS then surely it would be for all keywords, not just one?!?!

    Keep it simple!!

    • Gotcha. Since I don't do regional, I needed some feedback from people that do. Keep an eye out because I may be looking for some beta testers to try the tool in a couple of days. It will be a website, so nothing to download and install.
  • I have 5 websites in 4 different regions with lots of KW's to track. It would be much too much to split the regions by KW. Also as the websites are region specific they don't cross over and I would not want to see if they did really as it is a waste of time. Having said that I ahve seen 2 territory sites on the same SERP recently but they are very close and similar to each other.

    • What tool do you currently use and what features would you like to see?
  • I use SEOspyglass. I love seo tools!
  • SeoSpyGlass is really an awesome tool, gearmonkey, but I am really interested about this great tool and will follow this thread to see the next BIG SERP tool.
  • Please don't charge ridiculous amounts of money to check the rank of keywords/websites.

If a company made checking SERPs affordable and easily accessible it would be insanely popular. Rank Tracker by Link-Assistant is great because it's a one time fee program.

Anyways thats my rant. If anyone knows of an affordable solution let me know, I'm always looking.

    Thanks

    • There won't be any charge for this. It will be an adsense web 2.0 site, so hopefully it will make money the old fashion way. I would appreciate if you like it that you help spread the word though.

I will probably enlist about 3 beta testers, so if you are interested and have decent experience with seo tools, private message me and I may send you a link to the development site by this weekend.

    • Surprised you didn't see my wordpress plugin that lets you do everything you mention. See sig for more info (there's a wso running now)

  • 10-20 for the majority of my sites, possibly more for the occasional project.

I`m a bit of a noob, but I really cant imagine people would only be interested in 1 singular keyword?!?!
  • I think at least 5 are necessary
    • [1] reply
    • That is what I thought, but I know there is a lot of talk here about niche sites and targeting long keyword/phrases. Also some people talk about having 80 niche sites. Hard to imagine they are targeting too many keywords for each.

I will make it so there is a domain top level hierarchy with multiple keywords under each.

Any other requirements or ideas, let me know.

    • Gotcha....anyone else?
  • I would love to be able to plug in a deep url and see if I rank for that page not just for the overall domain (like in RankChecker).
    • [1] reply

    • The domain name text field is at least 60 characters, so you could get pretty specific, but we also highlight all results with what you put in the domain name, so if you enter 'warriorforum.com' in the domain name field and that shows up 20 times in the top 100 of the SERP results, we will highlight all 20, with the full URL, although only the top 1 counts for recording your stats.

If you pm me I will include you in the beta test. We are looking for feedback to make the tool as useful as possible.
  • top1000 please, no 100.

    • I've been using

      seoserp.com/google.page.rank.checker

Contains top results up to 1000.

Also can check regional domains (*.co.uk|*.ca|*.fr|every country essentially)
  • I live in Aus so the regional G domains are actually more important to me. So it depends what you market, what you are after and where one lives.

    • We are focused on just the top 100 for now. I actually use seoserp but when they were down, I got motivated to start my own. I also check over 20 keywords, so I got tired of entering the keywords everyday.

I also maintain a spreadsheet to track historical movement, which is a pain to do, so I am including it on the site also. The initial beta version will just track current, previous, and best rankings, but I will be working on the registered user version soon which will track and graph the last 30 days for any keyword.

The site also shows and remembers the top 10 results for each keyword and you can use your up/down arrow keys to switch between keywords to go back and quickly/easily view the top 10 for any of your keywords without having to do a new search. We don't save the top 100, since it is the top 10 you should be focused on.

We are still waiting on getting our private proxies setup. When that happens we will send the link to those who pm'd me. If you are interested, we still have room for more beta testers.
  • I'll check it out when its done =)
  • ....and nah, I really only worry about Google.
    • [1] reply
    • Ok, we are live for beta.

Currently it will allow you to add 20 keywords and check and show the results, recording your current, previous, and best SERP results for each. You can use up/down arrows to switch back and forth between your keywords, with the top 10 sites and your page, if ranked, showing on the right side of the screen. No need to keep querying or typing your data over and over.

If anyone else is interested in trying the site out and providing feedback, pm me. Remember though, this site is still being developed, so be kind on criticism.
  • hello my website mygoaholidays.co.uk ranking not up goa holidays keyword 8 th position in google.co.uk with in 3 weeks what problem my websites how to increase keyword Ranking please suggest all my friends
  • I wouldn't use this tool unless I could check ranks for .com and .co.uk.

I've had issues using other tools in the past that have to lead me to being "kicked off" Google because they ran so many searches. Some tools are worst than others, but I currently find Rank Checker to be the best.

Whilst a lot of software and sites offer comparison with competitors, trends etc, I would actually like a simple tool that just gets me accurate ranks fast. Also it would need to be able to export data to CSV sheet, obviously.

Good luck with it anyways, looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

    • We do have many of the google regionals you can choose to check your SERP with. Right now you can check up to 20 keywords at a time for a domain. I will be adding the ability to add and store multiple domains with their own list of keywords for each, but I wanted to get the initial functionality working first.

  • Definitely need .co.uk - maybe I'm being selfish though!
    • [1] reply

    • It's there under 'United Kingdom'. The list is sorted alphabetically.

  • It works good. I tried it myself and its working
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • well done guys nice job
  • tested - works perfect
  • Go 500 results deep if you can much more useful.
  • Awesome tool, but you should go at least to 300 in depth.

Really great to see a tool that includes national Google sites. Most ppl in IM still seem to believe that the world does only consist of English speaking countries.
    • [1] reply
    • you should add a progress bar when it's checking.

i did not notice that the ranks were updated and i thought the page hanged.

  • What are the odds of adding a reporting function? Ie this weeks ranking last week ranking, + or - ? Not everyone will use this for their own sites, but also for client sites.
    • [1] reply

    • I am going to track the results for your keywords over the last 30 days and graph it so you will be able to visually see the trend. You'll also be able to save multiple domains and keywords.
      • [1] reply
  • Can't you max out to 1000 depth? But its great to see the region SERP. great job
