Longer phrases better for Adsense?

I'm looking at changing the way I'm producing content to get more from Adsense. Wouldn't the ads be targetted better if I use a long-tail keyword? I might get less traffic for those pages, but it's the number of clicks that matter. Besides, people are using more long-tail phrases in searches. It might not make a big difference in traffic.

Longer phrases are actually worse when trying for
targeted adsense ads. The more different words you
give the adsensebot to crawl, the more confused it gets.
Or muddles things up. You need to pick only a few, not
a bunch. Words have double meanings. The more chance of
that happening, the more google will spit out garbage ads.

I think you are mixing up things just a tad.

What's good for a SERP is not necessarily good for an adsense
    ad or click.

When you are doing your page titles and H1 tags, shorter
is better. Remember that each and every word in those two
things will be analyzed. Many people make the mistake of keyword
    stuffing those.

I rarely rely on google for adsense traffic. Whatever they toss me
is fine. But I make my adsense pages to get targeted ads, and
    bring the targeted visitors myself.

Yes, many times google tosses me targeted visitors. But people
who search are really shooting craps.

What's funny here, is that a great page title and H1 tag can
bring a boatload of targeted ads, with no "content." There
are ways of doing this: content without content. Or, at least
content that does not muddle up the h1 and title. That's a
terrific free tip that I rarely give out. Many people think google
looks at the whole article. Forget it. Your article can make
things worse. Tweak the article to not muddle and you can
get very, very targeted ads. Remember, you are looking for
an adsense click. Not an article that satisfies.

Yes LONG TAIL TRAFFIC in most cases is always more targeted.

Focus on them because they are easier to rank for, and in a lot of tests I've done on my network, Long Tail get higher CTR.

Longer tail phrases cannot possibly be more targeted as far as adsense goes.
Your visitor's search terms have nothing to do with the ads that will show up.

Besides, people don't search for long tail phrases. They do short ones. But
again, that has little to do with targeted ads.

A long tail phrase reworked into a webpage will muddle up the ads. Period.

One of the main reason why most fail at adsense, or at least whine that
they can't make any money. They are going for anything and and everything,
stuff the site with nonsense keywords, then complain they don't get
      the right ads. Go figure.

        Are you smoking CRACK?

Do you even know what long tail traffic is?

        Example:

        Weight Loss Pills

Long Tail: "buy weight loss pills online right now"

The LONG TAIL CONVERTS BETTER because it is more targeted.

ADSENSE Ads want Clicks from targeted traffic so it will convert better for the Advertisers.
