Period of backlinking

Hi guys,

Since I am still newbie, I still have basic questions in mind. I do already have several websites. I am confused which one I should do.

Suppose Website A with keyword #1, kw #2, and kw #3. I backlink that website with one type of service at a time. For example, I build linkwheel on Web 2.0 properties and give it 2 month to see the result. If the website is outside page 2, I will use private blog network, again I will evaluate the SERP after, say 3 months. If the ranking is still not on page 1, I will use another method e.g., press release, doc sharing system etc.

On the other hand, those backlinks built at the same time. For example, building linkwheel, blog networks, doc sharing at the same time. It is for link diversity, I suppose.

Which one would you prefer based on your experience?

  • Use a variety of different methods, in moderation, at the same time. You can focus them on different keywords if you want to track effectiveness.
  • I understand. Another question, can I blast backlink to multiple innerpages at the same time as well?

    • Yes, the more pages with back links running to them, the more relevancy Google will give your site
  • dont wait and see what happens, always keep building links with good link diversity and steady link velocity

  • Thanks again for the response! So you guys never measure the effective of each method (e.g. article directories or web 2.0) used on your webpage?
  • You should do a variety of things in order to get a SERP, but do it constantly! For example submit to 5 article directories today, do another 5 submissions tomorrow, etc.. Don't do 100 today and stop for 1 month!!!
