I dont understand this

My first competitors in market has 0 back links in Google
but my 2 competitors in market has 34 back links in Google

i don't understand this

and as i go down in Google search result

my competitors got more back links

even
my site is appearing 12 in search result and suddenly it disappears in Google search result. I cannot see myself in Google till 100 result .

help me!!!!!!!!!!

      When the google changes SERP fluctuate(Up and Down SERP Position) is called "Google Dance", Eg: One day your site could be number 1 in SERP and the next nowhere to be seen.
  • It's not the number of backlinks that counts.
  • Make sure you don't stop building backlinks in this situation and u will get a better ranking within few days.
  • The total number of backlinks of your competition doesn't really matter as much as the number of optimized backlinks your competition has to the specific keyword. I see plenty of sites ranking for terms with 1000s of backlinks but if they are not optimized to the keyphrase, then they can still be beaten easily.
