301 Redirect Question - Losing Juice?

I have hundreds of backlinks pointing to a subdomain - subdomain.domain.com
If I do a 301 redirect on that subdomain to domain.com/keyword will I lose the backlink juice originally built to subdomain.domain.com?
I don't technically have to move it, but I'd like to if possible. But not if it's going to screw up my SERPS.
