Banned by Google because of Micro Niche Finder?

I'm new to Internet Marketing. I purchased Micro Niche Finder a couple of weeks ago and I've been really happy with the results. I found a low competition keyword that I created a simple adsense site for that is on the second page of google for my keyword in exact phrase match. This without doing any backlink building or article marketing yet and I just launched the site on Monday so I'm really pleased.

Today, however, I received a message from digilink that someone had attempted to follow my rss feed and the link was broken. They were redirected to my homepage. I then set up my rss feed through feedburner and attempted to test the link through my site. This took me to a page that said the following:

Google
Sorry...
We're sorry...

... but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.

See Google Help for more information.
I had no captcha or anything to fill out to get past this screen. I clicked on Google help and it said the following:

Unusual traffic from your computer network

When Google detects that a computer on your network may be sending automated traffic to Google we may show the following message: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network." Automated queries are against our Terms of Service.

The error page most likely displays a CAPTCHA (a squiggly word with a box below it). To continue using Google, type the squiggly word into the box -- it's how we know you're a human, not a robot.
If you don't see a CAPTCHA image or if you continue to encounter the CAPTCHA over and over, try these steps in order:

Check for malware on your computer.
Malicious software, sometimes bundled with other free downloads without your knowledge, can trigger Google to show this message. Visit our security information site for some well-known programs that can detect and remove such applications.

If the suggested programs don't resolve the problem, you might want to try an advanced troubleshooting program such as HijackThis.

Advanced troubleshooting: HijackThis

HijackThis lets you view programs installed on your computer and easily remove malicious ones.

We're not affiliated with HijackThis and cannot vouch for it ourselves; however, many of our users have found it helpful. If you'd like to try HijackThis, please visit url for instructions on installing and using this program.

After scanning your computer using HijackThis, analyze the generated log to determine which programs to remove.

Deleting legitimate lines in your HijackThis log can have adverse effects on your computer, so please exercise caution.
After using HijackThis, we suggest that you update and run the three applications listed below again. Although you've already run these programs, doing so after using HijackThis often exposes additional files.

Lavasoft Ad-Aware
Spybot Search and Destroy
MacScan (for Mac users)
Contact your network administrator.
If you tried the steps above and haven't resolved the issue, it's very likely that a user or a computer in your network is sending automated traffic to Google. Your network administrator may be able to locate and shut down the source of the automated traffic; feel free to refer them to this page. Sending automated queries of any sort to Google is against our Terms of Service. This includes, among other things, the following activities:

Using any software that sends queries to Google to determine how a website or webpage ranks on Google for various queries
'Meta-searching' Google
Performing 'offline' searches on Google
Once the automated traffic has stopped, the ban on your IP address should be automatically lifted.

If the problem persists, your network administrator should contact us.
If your network continues to experience this message in error, please send us additional information.
I've used micro niche finder extensively since I purchased it and I suppose this is the problem. I have scanned my PC with all recommended products, as well as malwarebytes and I'm totally clean, so it must have been my use of MNF. Anyone else gotten banned using this tool? I'm not sure whether to stop using it or start learning about proxies, etc. I'm really out of my element there. any help is appreciated.

It's only temporary, so don't worry about it. I actually don't use that product, but I would image they have proxy support. You might want to check out their knowledge base or support articles to find about about using proxies with the software.

Yeah, it was most likely caused by MNF. The bans are usually temporary. It happens when you hammer Google with queries. Just throttle back the amount of data you request and you'll be fine.

    I wouldn't call it a ban though.

It's not a ban at all. It's a temporary inability to process requests via Google ... think of it as a time out.

Very short time out. Not a penalty, doesn't mean you did anything wrong. Means Google is being conservative in case you are a robot.

I agree with the comments already provided. I own and have used Microniche Finder, and I've had to wait a little while to use Google again. It was maybe like 15 minutes. I found I could lessen the effects on Google by not having EVERY search be done that MNF could do for me.

I notice that that happens a lot with the SOC feature if you click to many at a time manually; instead of putting them into a queue.

Do what yukon says, and you won't have to wait so long. I just use the CCleaner and it works like a charm.

Ah yes. MNF produces some serious query action on the back end. It's not a big deal. I usually just clear my temp files in the browser and fire it back up again.

I have also found that while I'm doing keyword research, I keep my screen turned so that I can keep an eye open for those pesky captchas. MNF takes a little babysitting but it still saves hours and hours of time researching. I rely heavily on it and I dont mind if I get a temporary time out from G every once in a while. I'm used to it anyway. I used to use SEOquake a lot and ran into that problem all the time.

So don't sweat it. Business as usual...

My isp for example keeps lease times up to 30 days. If I were to do the actions above, it would not change my ip address. If you use a router on top of the modem your isp provides, see if it has a mac address cloning option. If it does, use it to clone the mac address of your pc. That will force your ip address to change because isp leases are maintained off the mac address of your network card. Make sure you do the other instructions listed above such as clearing out your cache also.

I have done all of this, waited days not hours or minutes but still banned. Does this happen with other micro niche tools

I know for a fact this works, at least on my own modem it does, which my modem is an old Westell DSL modem from back before AT&T bought out Bellsouth.

Google did a temporary block on me a couple of days ago. I followed the exact same steps (in the same order) & I was back on Google doing reserch in less than 5min.

My modem has a little red reset button on the back that I press & hold with a ink pen for about 15-20 seconds (step #3 above).

Bear in mind if you're using MNF and google keyword tool in the same time that will happen big time as well.
I think Google is getting a raging batttle against MNF and MS tools.

Does MNF support the use of proxies?

I'm using Clyde's ultimate niche finder with private proxies from Private Proxies | Exclusive Proxies to prevent temp blockings from google. Would be a good solution to your problem especially if you plan on using the software consistently for hours.

You could also scrape for free proxies but those aren't as reliable as the private ones.

Am hoping that maybe one of you MNF users can help me out.
Not only did I get the google "ban" but I didn't actually even complete any MNF searches and still got the ban.

The thing is I just got MNF and so far I have not been able to complete one search. At first it did not work at all and I never figured out why but suddenly today it started working - but then not.

Here's the deal. I get the CAPTCHA you can see in the attached jpg. I tried about 6 times and every time I got this same CAPTCHA. What is going on? As you can see there are no characters in the CAPTCHA so I could not put them in the box, thus could not complete any search. I don't understand why I am getting a CAPTCHA with no characters in it! Check my Captcha out below.

Also, do ALL keyword research tools have this problem or is it just MNF? And can MNF be used with web-based proxies to avoid this problem? If so which one is cheapest/best to use?
