Google's new algorithm and scrolling

Google's page layout algorithm is looking at how much content your page is showing without the visitor having to scroll. At first, I figured this was just a way of punishing people for having too many ads. Apparently, white space can also get you into SEO trouble. I don't like crowded pages, but I'm going to give Google what it wants.

It doesn't mean having a bunch of content at the top of the page will boost your rankings. It was mainly to penalize those sites that have huge adsense blocks at the top of the page where you would have to scroll down before seeing any of the content.

    Oh, I just love google!

If they keep updating their algo with this kind of stuff, everyone who build affiliate sites go out of business in next two years and that means we actually have to find a REAL jobs...yikes!

Google search for java codes in a web page. That's how they know the ads location.
