Does it mean I can't use my keyword in the title for many posts?

Emerald City Boat Tours | See the Space Needle, Contact Us

Now, when a user searches for "seattle space needle," the search engine has to figure out which of the above four pages to display to the searcher. These four pages are all competing against each other for rankings, which also dilutes their ability to outrank the competition. As a result, the search engine might serve up Emerald City Boat Tours' Contact page and not the page about the Space Needle. The user won't think the result is relevant and probably will not click on it.

To avoid keyword cannibalization, include a diverse range of keywords in your title tags and make sure that each title tag is unique and accurately describes the focus of its corresponding page.SEOmoz | Keyword Research Guide for SEO

Use noindex on the pages you don't want Google to serve up from its index in search results. Pages like About, Contact and Privacy Policy are pages you may not want in the Google Index.

You can also use your robots.txt file to prevent spiders and bots from crawling directories you want private. Like the WP source directories.

You should also noindex any Thank You or Download pages so they don't show up in Google search. I have searched Google for paid products only to find their download pages showing in the search results. Anyone could use Google to find the download page and swipe the product for free.

That's not the way it works.

Four pages ranking for a single keyword/phrase is potentially 300% better than a single page ranking for that same keyword/phrase.

As far as SEO, my ultimate goal is to rank as many of my sites pages per keyword/phrase as possible.

In this case, more is better!
