Market Samurai

Hello. I'd like to develop a micro niche site with amazon affiliate program. I've read so many articles on making money online and this way seemed to be a good compromise between time/money effort.

I am looking for a tool to do research. I have used Market Samurai (trial version) and now I'm considering buying a full version. I really like it and it seems useful. I know there is other software like Long Tail Pro but I haven't had any experience with it.

I wanted to ask fellow warriors what's their experience with MS and if it is a good buy.

  • MS has been useful for me up to now as well, and I and I am also considering it as a one off purchase. There are some vouchers around the internet for a rebate to reduce the cost as well. Worth googling for that. The fact is you're probably like me and pretty used to using MS by now. I'll check that thread before I make my buying decision though!

    • After checking that thread it looks like keeping MS free after the trial and using Domain Samurai, also free, might be the answer...
  • I use MS daily and love it.

    I have not used Long Tail Pro, but I've watched all the promotional videos and spoken to the creator. It appears to be a solid product. I intend to purchase a license for it before beginning an upcoming project to develop many small amazon affiliate sites in an automated fashion. LTP shines at digging generating thousands of potential keywords at a time, leaving it sit to churn through them, then doing analysis on the whole lot.
  • I use Marketing Samurai, and its great for finding out your comptition and how many searchers your keyword got
  • If you are building niche sites (for any purpose - your own products, Amazon sites, etc...), then you definitely will find it useful.

  • I've used market samurai a lot.
    Lately it got really cut down.
    Researching competitors backlinks is a mess and the rank tracker needs ages!
    Hopefully they can fix the backlink issue which most programs suffer from.

    Nonetheless still good for keyword research!
