New SEO Tool - Feedback Please

Hi everyone.

I am new to this forum but not new to SEO. And I know from my own workings, how amazingly hard it is to find good quality dofollow blogs that are still dofollow and not littered with spam.

With that in mind I have created a dofollow checker. It is very easy to use. Just throw in a url you want to check. It then pulls 10 posts from that site and checks for dofollow links in the comment sections. Currently it only checks if the author lines include dofollow links, it does not detect links in the comment body.

To help reduce fake returns it also ignores links that bounce back onto the host site, so admin comments are usually ignored, as are site profile links.

It is also currently coded towards wordpress driven sites. So major sites like bbc.co.uk and alike will pretty much also return emtpy.

Anyways, the tool is currently in a test phase and it would be a great help if people could test the tool for me and drop some feedback.

This is not intended as an advert for this tool, purely intended for feedback purposes, so I can work to improve the site.

Thanks for any help.

  • Hi
It looks OK, if it's going to be a free service then yeah with a few improvements
    it should work fine.

On the other hand if you want to monetize it you are going up against tools like
Scrapebox and the like which can check thousands of Blogs at once and they
check for OBL's, closed to comments, platform, PR etc.

PS. There are also various browser add-ons that do the same thing...

  • The design is very clean and modern looking. I definitely like that.

I would change your "Visit Site" links to open in a new tab/window.

it would be useful to have some type of sorting and filtering option. For example, search for sites with PR >2, with Disqus and <10 comments.
