Okay folks, this is a logic and the strategy, knowing that long tail keywords are important in all the strategic locations, and wanting to maximize real estate, the URL, title, description, H1, H2 and so on.

What I have done is create an .htaccess file, and changed the default web page domain URL pointer from index.html to the long tail keyword url I want to rank for. So when the user goes to the domain.com address the long-tail keyword url loads by default.

I have also put a permanent 301 redirect for my domain.com/index.html page to point to my new long tail URL.

My question is, in the new site map that I have uploaded, I am questioning what priority I should assign to the default domain URL, the ex: domain.com, I have given the long tail keyword URL, (default load page), a priority of 1.00, and for the domain.com only URL I have assigned a priority of 0.64.

Any feedback on the logic, strategy and priorty would be greatly appreciated.
