Quick question here.

I have a site that is pretty robust- 100+ pages.

I would like to add a squeeze page to the site to grab some names and email
addresses.

I planned on adding a subdomain like: squeeze.mysite.com

Will my squeeze page be approved by AdWords or does it have to be a separate page on the main site?

I think it can be easily approved by Google Adwords.

Adwords is all about paid listing and ad optimization. You don't have to worry about how your landing page looks like.
And, just for information, squeeze pages are not liked by Google. It may drop your squeeze page from the index.

Information Collection and Use - AdWords Advertising Policies Help

Google AdWords doesn't allow websites that collect personal information in exchange for free gifts or quiz/survey results. We refer to this practice of collecting personal information in exchange for free items as "information harvesting".
