Where can I buy high PR domains??

I want to buy some high PR domains, PR 1-5. It doesn't matter the age of the site, or what the domain name is as long as it carries between 1-5 PR. I don't want to pay too much. The max I'm willing to pay is $200 for a PR5..

Thanks guys!

If you can use tools like scrapebox and make sure PR is real/won't drop you can just go to GoDaddy auctions and get PR domains for a few bucks

I know ALN also publish a list of dropping domains with PR, so if you don't have an account there yet you can register for free and enjoy their list!

    Hope that helps

How do you make sure PR is real / won't drop?

    How is "fake" PR created?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[5779684].message }}

Fake PR can be created when your website redirects to another website that has a high PR. It could be easily checked in google using the query:

    info:domain.com

where domain.com is the domain you would want to check (the result will show you the website or it could also shows another website, if it is another, then the PR is fake!)

        Hey AGC,

Also been looking to verify the "fakeness" of domains since i've been shopping around for PR2 sites :-)

Currently using rankchecker(dot)com to weed out the fakes. They appear red under the validation column.

Do NOT rely on Scrapebox to identify real PR. It is not 100% accurate. Sometimes it will check the PR of the www version of the domain, but then the Fake Page Rank checker will check the non-www version of the domain. If they only redirected the one version, Scrapebox may tell you it is a PR 4 and real, but in actuality the non-www was a PR 0 and that was what was real.

    Hope that makes sense.

GoDaddy auctions annoy me. You buy the domain for $9, sure... but then they charge $12 for a 1 year registration.. and THEN they don't give you a full year. You get one year from the date it expired not from the date you paid the $12!

Hidden fees bug me, and GoDaddy is full of them. Plus, you've got to hate how your username is a number. It makes me feel like such a robot.

Umm.... If only we got to set the price of things we are looking for based on what we want. If I see a PR5 for $200 I would double triple check the domain cause it well could be faked or it could be a PR2 by the next update. With reasonable amount of quality links you should expect to pay several times that .

LOL. I share your disgust with them. I wouldn't touch godaddy with a ten foot pole if not for their auctions and they know they got you when you win a bid - alot of the active coupons won't be accepted for registration and then they tack on the privacy fee where others throw it in for free

Scrapebox has an amazing plugin called TDNAM Scraper which searches all godaddy auction domains by keyword. I spent the past week searching keywords like "as", "do", "the", "top", etc. It will return 50,000+ results and then you run it through the pagerank checker and then you wait for the high PR sites! I was only able to find one .com PR5 domain (which I bought for $5) out of about 200,000 sites searched and maybe ten PR4 domains.

Let me know what your niche is and I'll see what I can do.

When it's no cache Scrapebox says it's no cache. When it's fake Scrapebox says it's fake and it shows which domains redirect to it.

For example I just runned through a huge list with all domains having www. in front of it. So I filtered out the ones that didnt return fake.

Now when I run that same filtered list with removing the www. then it's saying no cache for all of them.

All the ones that weren't fake are PR2 btw, found about 45 of them after going through 15k domains.

As you can see in this image there are only very few with No Cache:

What amazes me is the amount of blogspots and tumblrs that are redirecting, these might very well stick.

Yeah that there is no data/content cached for the site. As in pretty risky to buy such domain cause it's probably expired for quite some time already.

Or in other words the url that we check for isn't indexed in Google anymore.

When you check onthewaterpromotions.com you'll see that only 3 inner url's are indexed. I would pass on such domain.

Interesting, I was always told to skip these domains cause there is a big chance the PR will drop. Oh well, actually its a bit nonsense to think that indeed as long as you do a check on the backlinks the site has.

Godaddy Would be the best site, but its not a great job to buy high Pr website, the thing is you creat a website and by strong back linking you turn its Pr High according to your requirements. keep focusing on back linking Onpage or Ofpage SEO is the only way you get high pr by your own without spending hundreds of Dollars.

      Yep - That's the problem.

If one is serious about getting good drops you also need to check a whole bunch more of stuff like :

      PR

Like I said, make me an offer. Min price to set in SEDO is US$60, not that I have any choice. Lol..

There are tools that allows you to track/view that the domain previously look like. And not everything is base on PR, Alexa or links. Sometimes a person just want that particular TLD name, for his own reasons.

Use a service such as Dropday.com and become familiar with how Namejet and Snapnames run their domain auctions. Backlink checks are essential if you want a domain with PR that will last. Scrapebox is handy - but not for checking if the PR is fake or not. Use Scrapebox to check which links in the domain's profile are still live and then check the quality factors of this live list.

Always triple check a domain that is receiving no attention. There are cases when some get missed but it's often a red flag.

If you do buy a domain that drops PR at the next update then study the reasons why it dropped and use this new knowledge for your next purchase. Remember that not all links go to the homepage and a page (including the homepage) can get PR purely from inner links (no external links).

I'm doing this kind of work. My process is like this:
    1. Get 40000 expiring domains from GoDaddy.
    2. Get some fast proxies in scrapebox and then check pagerank of all 40000 domains.
    3. Remove any domains from the list that have PR of 0 or N/A
    4. Start Fake PR Checker addon in scrapebox and check all the domains in your list and export all real pagerank domains to file.
    5. Check backlinks of all real domains exported at step 4 using scrapeboxx backlinks checker addon
    6. ???? (I had to code a tool to join all the data to a csv file.)
    7. Check the final list, if PR is high and backlinks are low then the domain can have a redirect to it that builds the PR. Ultimately you need to analyze the backlinks using various tools to make sure they are quality.

    Hope this helped.

You can do all that and a lot more in 15 mins !

I have a tool that does most of the hard graft for you.

It works on the principle of "Crowd Sourcing". Each user does a bit of the jigsaw, and since the "Crowd" are doing the work, they get to share the results.

Which at this level is free. You can pay extra for more information if you want it, but I find the "Crowd Source" level gives me 90% of the picture I need.

Firstly it removes all the "fake refreshes" and secondly eliminate all the "Fake PR", that's like 50 man days work in 15 minutes.

What I get left with is a list of "Crowd Sourced" domains that I can search through using the various filters provided.

On a typical day I will get around 300/400 results that are +PR2 and usually include several PR4 & PR5.

The PR2 and PR3 can usually be got for under $20, whilst PR4 & PR5 can reach over $500, but here's the rub ... I have bought a PR5 for only $17 and that's what I call finding the gold in the dross.

You can get the "Crowd Sourced" version here : KickAssBots.com › Registration Form
