Its Duplicate content???

When i submit my article to article directory like article base , suidoo and more? I ts ok to submit the same one to a few diffrent directories and link from them to my website google will see it as a duplicate content and its will cause more damage to my website?
Again...dulicate content in few diffrent article directoy....im not speaking about duplicate content on my website about it im aalready know that a content on my website shouldnt appear anywhere else on the web!

  • Duplicate content refers to the same or similar content on your own site. Submitting to multiple directories won't hurt your site. If it did, I could simply blast a bunch of articles linking to my competitor's sites and take them all down, but it turns out I can't, because that's not what Google calls "duplicate content".

    What happens if you use your competitors' site's articles and submit them to article directories for backlinks to your own site?

    And for the nice users - i understand i wont damage my site. I want to be more clear about what i asked.
    A link from an article tha have been submiting to a few diffrent articles diretories have any value? Or Google see it as a backlink that come from duplicate content and because of that the backlinks from this article have no value???
    I hope that know i make my quastion more easy to understand....

  • Submitting the same article to different 'do follow' article directories can be considered as 'black hat', I suggest you submit the same article to many article directories but they have to be 'no-follow'. This way Google will not punish you for duplicate content.

  • No, I don´t think the links will count. That´s the reason why people are spinning articles. So that Google will judge them as unique content and will count the links.

    • I would argue that at the very least, the links from at least ONE of the articles will count. Google probably picks which ones from the site with the highest authority, which probably factors in page rank and other site content.

  • Few days back, my friend started a news website and he was copying the latest headlines and stories from famous websites. I suggested him do not copy the news. He said all the news websites do this they have same news with same source even the titles and content are same. Even the news published 10 minutes ago spread all over the internet with same title and body content on famous news websites. My question can we also do the same? or is there any service that we need to contact in order to publish those news. I have seen most of the news are referred to AFP or Cover media etc. Even someone gets a license to publish isn't it going to remain duplicate content?

  • If you have submitted your article in any other article site then after that you are submitting in articlebase, suidoo and hubpage then its rejected due to duplicity.So first submit your article in those saite the submit in other site.

  • Submitting a single article without spinning to a 'limited' number of 'quality' article and web 2.0 sites, would not hurt your site.

    But stay away from submitting the same article to 100s of article sites.
  • Sometimes I will write a really good article, publish it to my website then get the page indexed and let it sit there for a few days, then take the exact same article and post it to some article directories (2/3) with a link back to my homepage and to the article page on my site... no harm done.
