Why did ALL my rankings disappear?

Okay, I'm sorta freaking out a little, but all of a sudden, all my rankings in Google are completely gone (not within the first 50 pages).

Before, I had about 20 different keywords all ranking within the first 3 pages of Google and now they are all gone. My site is only 2 months old and I just started to build backlinks (mostly BMR and squidoo lenses) to my site.

But I only build about 1-3 backlinks total per day.

Is this normal? Has this ever happened to any of you, and did your rankings return to normal?

Thanks

This happened to me, but my rankings came back in about 2 weeks. I think that they pulled my site out of the search to do a manual review.

BMR are closed to new members at the moment and they're official line is they need to expand their network to service increasing members. My guess is many of their blogs just got de-indexed and if your rankings were dependent on any of these blogs then that would explain the drop.

I'm not sure that's it. I just checked all my posts and 67/70 posts are still indexed.

That's what I read. If your site starts getting high rankings, they may have a human look at it to make sure it's not a thin site with poor spun content. If you have a quality site, this is nothing to worry about.

I read about Google manual reviews here:

This makes me feel so much better! I had this happen to me today. We disappeared in the rankings for about 2 hours. We then get everything back... Felt like a pregnancy scare lol

You site is only 2 months old...it will come back, I'd only worry if your site was a year or older

    Quality of Back Links

I have a same problem I also post question on the thread when your ranking drop make sure that you remove your affiliate link of the page even if they are non-follow make sure you remove them, add more post page content if you are running some linkbuilding campaign using SEO service from warrior forum I would recommend that you switch service it may be possible that they running link building campaign for your site submitting duplicate content which will rise red flag to Google especially after the new Google Pand update they really puting a lot of emphasizes on links from duplicate content...

Are you running google WMT? If so, check your messages to see if you got hit with an "unnatural link building warning" like I did. We will find a way to do deal with this, but first must do some investigation.

Nope, didn't get any messages from google regarding unnatural link building. Right now, I'm just waiting it out.
