Rank Tracker - How to Hide AdWords Results?

So I noticed today when I searched for a term I was ranking for that my term showed up as #6 in Rank Tracker but when I manually Google it with Personal Results turned off, I'm actually #3. (Under 3 AdWords results) So it's looking like Rank Tracker is counting AdWords as "results" when telling me what number I am.

Is there any way to turn it off so it doesn't count the ads when checking rank? Thanks

Unless their latest updates have some issues with scraping the Google results, Rank Tracker shouldn't be taking into consideration AdWords. It's not a setting with the program so there is nothing you can do to correct this.

Are you using proxies to check rank? Google recently released the Venice update which can cause you to see drastically different results depending on which location you are. Using proxies would explain this since the proxies would have a different location than you.

You can learn more about the Venice update here: Understand and Rock the Google Venice Update | SEOmoz

If you aren't using proxies, than I'd just recheck it with the software and see if it doesn't get a more accurate result this time. Rank Tracker, like any software, often makes mistakes when checking ranks.
