  • I'm not sure what that means, it is a program you install on your pc, you can send it via your own server, or by proxies. Still trying to work out the proxy thing.

    • What if I do not want to use my server?
  • then you use proxies, but like I said, I am still trying to work that part out. Someone with more experience may be able to explain how it works.....
  • what about gmail or AOL?
  • rehan....
when i first started im marketing in 2008 i bought and used a lot of programs with mail clients...."DON'T DO IT"

Companies that do their own mailing buy huge lots of ip address cause they get banned and reported as SPAM quickly. (me, banned and spammer but learned a lesson)

try mailchimp....they have a free deal to do your bulk mailing....if you have very much mail to send out they will charge accordingly...but check it out here's the link MAILCHIMP

    good luck

    • good question, i have find the answer.
  • You can setup mass mailer at your server and send bulk emails but just be careful one the following points

    1. Avoid 3rd party email list unrelated to your business. Send emails to your customers, contacts, friends or someone who are related to your business.

    2. Do not send repeated unsolicited messages to same recipients

    3. Do not send messages with content similar to a spam email

    4. You must add an unsubscribe link at the bottom and that should work

    5. The from-address and return path must be valid email address

    6. Don't place a tracking link in the email message

    7. Your mail server should have a valid domain name and the server should have a spf record that gives mail sending permission on behalf of your MX server. If both the server is same you do not need a spf.

    Hope it will help.
