  • How old are your site? Can you still find your site if you type the full URL into Google search?
This will tell you if it's been de-indexed or not.

If your sites are new they could be doing the Google dance which is fairly common with new sites. Don't worry too much.

If your site is new then the fluctuation of page rank is common if this site old then google panda has either blocked your site's domain or your hosting.

According to me there are many reason to lost ranking in google. Might be your competitor are doing work better then you. Firstly update your site content and content are more unique and also useful to the readers. Your site layout are very attractive, When you select keyword for your site it must be relevant to your site. When you choose targeted keyword for particular page and those page have no any information regarding those keyword, it's useless. Always use targeted keyword in your content, It's really good for your site.

    Lot of lousy replies here...

    Anyhow...

How long ago did you lose rankings? How long did you have those rankings? How far did they drop? Have you recently changed the layout or format of the site? Did you change servers? Did make any changes to the content of the site? What kind of backlink activity have you been doing? Do you use Google Webmaster Tools, and if so did you receive any message from them?

Without more information, nobody can even speculate as to why your rankings adjusted.

Agreed. There is no way to know why your rankings dropped, or if they will come back without more information.

If your websites aren't very old and have been indexed recently google tends to dance them a round a bit for the first couple of months.

For the next few weeks or so don't expect to see any change in your rankings. Google is just "testing" your website right now. Keep building links and soon it will pop back out of the sandbox.

Don't worry, you didn't do anything wrong. It just happens sometimes

Test, test and test some more. Increase backlinks, content, and try changing up static and variable content on your site. Locations of menus, contextual backlinks on site and so forth. Half the fun is figuring out the reverse engineering of the updates
