Succeess Potential for a SEO report

Please let me know the success potential about a nice exclusive report on straight cut SEO success guide as a start up product. It would be specially benefited for newbie and fresh marketers confused with information overload.

I have drafted some pages for it.Beginners and even experienced marketers will come to know about some straight forward practical site building and optimization tips. What are the main obstacles? challenges? How to overcome them?

I have tried to write it using my long 8 years industry experience in web industry.I have not completed it yet, but it is not only an informative guide, it has simple, straight forward talks and experience and remedy ......

I will explain both technical and non-technical part in a casual approach. The guide is written in first person.

I have a plan to come up with it as a real life tutorial in a simple and loud thinking style that would help newbie to stay tuned.

What do you think about my plan and its potential?

Feel free to come up with your expectation from such report with out any hesitation.

  • Before preparing your product search WF, also Google and see what (video)courses/books are about this subject, read their product presentation page, read reviews about them and you will learn a lot - what to do or not to do - and can use some ideas.

    • Thanks for your comments. I will not check out several available books or reports on SEO for reference.

      I have been working in this area over a long period of time, since 2004. I just try to give a nice content using my experience and efficiency. It will be a hands book in true sense, I guess. I have worked for so many sites and know exactly what a newbie needs to initiate any start up in the web.

      I will surely give away free copies while in BETA for honest opinion and suggestion.

  • Not saying it is a good idea or bad idea, but there are a ton of these type of products out there already. Unless you have some really noteworthy references or an extremely unique selling point I'm not sure what would make your product stand out from the countless others out there.

    And your product might very well be better than most of the ones out there, but that still does not mean it is going to sell. If it doesn't get in front of people's eyeballs, it will not matter how good it is.
  • Yes, I agree with you Mike. The product should offer something special and unique to stand out in the lot. Presentation too is an important aspect here.

    • Instead of details and advice, I would suggest writing tools people can use. I personally wouldn't pay for SEO advice because you never know if they are scraping and bundling information that has been said 1000 times here or other areas of the web, but a tool is useful and can be tiered so there is a free and paid version.

    Offering free reports for some well-known or credible websites and having testimonials on your site will be helpful for people to choose your report over the hundreds of other seo report services out there.

    • Thanks to aygabtu and lovboa for your precious feedback. Yes, SEO tools are of great value either free or paid. I will have to consider seriously if I could add any simple SEO tool initially with my practical report.

      I would surely like to get some honest reviews on my reports once done as well as needs to include some site owners own experience from the past.
