relevant niche forums

In the niche that im in, carpet cleaning, it's hard to find related content sites to post articles to. The only thing I really have is posting to 4 different carpet cleaning forums and other carpet cleaning websites and getting links on their site. How much weight do forum posts hold in a related niche post panda? I have yahoo and bing down for rankings, this is for google rankings as they are much more content related.

  • Have you thought about adding your article or website to paid directories like rlrouse .com?
  • Why not look for some home improvement / care forums?

    And don't look at forums as a way to create links. Look at them as a way to drive very targeted traffic to your site through your sig.
  • You can try searching Technorati for some related blog posts/sites.
  • I recommend that you should NOT use only VERY RELATED website.. Check the entire category...

    For example if the keyword is computers.. You can also post on Tech related forums and blogs
