With all this discussion recently of Google changing the valuation of backlinks, etc.. does anyone know if its worth using BacklinksKingdom? Or will Google be disregarding these type of links from now. These aren't strictly paid links because there is a free option and a paid option.

I'd stay far away from any service like that because it's not worth getting penalized. There's better ways to get links...

Are you sure that this type of service is the kind which causes penalizations though? As BacklinksKingdom only submits to about 50 article sites per day and the backlinks wouldn't get indexed all at once.

Also aren't penalizations the result of not having a diverse enough backlinking profile? Because if they weren't then people could too easily knock their competitors with some cheap Fiverr backlinking gig.

It would be interesting to hear from the people who have been penalized, what volume of links were being built. As I imagine its a lot based on the volume of links, the linking pattern and the sites current backlink profile.

Sorry to be rude, but thats plain bull Greg

dude Backlinks kingdom is all good, they are quality links and I use it for every post I write. I haven't noticed any penalization. Of course its not the only back links i use. If your scared of getting penalized then get backlinks from different sources. Web2.0, Article, Forums, Bookmarks, Blog comments, social media, and the list goes on. Keep it diversified. Go ahead and use BK its a great service.

LOL do a search on Backlinks kingdom, you should see my post on 2 or 3 unlessed I danced recently

That's fine. I respect your opinion. I'm just saying that I don't believe in services like that and I find them unethical. Publishing the same content on multiple sites or spinning articles just seems wrong to me. Not to mention an easy way to be detected if there was a crack down on that sort of behavior. Which is what I expect is coming at one point or another. Especially with the newest algorithm change announced last week!

The web is full of syndicated content. So do you think its wrong if someone manually submits an article which they've already submitted elsewhere to another article directory? If it was wrong then article directories wouldn't accept articles which have already been submitted elsewhere.

Getting link form any link kingdom will tell the search engine that you are using black hat SEO and unethical SEIO and this will adversely affect the site.
If you define that as black hat SEO then wouldn't submitting an article manually to multiple directories also be considered black hat SEO?

From what I've heard Google doesn't know exactly whether a backlink was built manually or automated, but they detect linking patterns so I imagine if a large volume of links which are one type i.e. links from a blog network then they know it isn't natural linking.

If you need ranking then you should just try backlinksindexer for link building.

It looks like backlinksKingdom.com has been deindexed. When you login and go to the submit page, there is a note:

As of April 12, 2012, we found out that over the last couple of days most of our sites have been de-indexed in Google. Don't worry about your backlinks, they will not penalize your pages but simply not pass on the link juice. We are currently evaluating the different options we have, and as a consequence the submission form is temporarily closed. This is a preventative measure and is not permanent. Please expect an email from us within the next few days. We're sincerely sorry for the inconvenience caused, and thank you for your patience and understanding.
