Hi,

I have heard that Cloudflare does not go well with Adsense. Some people say it it changes things so that all visitors appear to come from USA and Google frowns upon it. Some people also report that their sites were banned by Adsense few days/weeks after they enabled Cloudflare.

I enabled Cloudflare on one of my sites but after reading these things, I quickly disabled it. What is your opinion and experience about it ? Do Cloudflare and Adsense go well together?

Thanks in advance

You shouldn't have any issues with CloudFlare and AdSense (covered here with the basic configuration). Rocket Loader, an optional beta feature, might potentially impact some ad scripts like AdSense - so you can leave this off in your settings, or you can have Rocket Loader ignore the Google AdSense script as an other option (if you have it turned on).

I would also personally recommend having mod_cloudflare installed so original visitor IP is being returned to your logs.

Glad to help. We did push a fix recently for Rocket Loader that should address some of the issues we have seen with AdSense in the past...but better safe than sorry. If you decide to try Rocket Loader & see an issue, then definitely turn it off.

you should worry about another thing, google search engine will see that the IP address of your site changed frequently, this can effect your site's rank.

but if most of your visitors doesn't come from search engine, be happy with cloudflare.

Shouldn't be an issue at all & explained here. From the post:

Second, we worked directly with the crawl teams at the big search engines to make them aware of how CloudFlare worked. All the search engines had special rules for CDNs like Akamai already in place. CloudFlare worked a bit differently, but fell into the same general category. With the cooperation of these search teams we were able to get CloudFlare's IP ranges are listed in a special category within search crawlers. Not only does this keep sites behind them from being clustered to a least performant denominator, or incorrectly geo-tagged based on the DNS resolution IP, it also allows the search engines to crawl at their maximum velocity since CloudFlare can handle the load without overburdening the origin.
