Google Rank 1 For 4 Huge New Keywords In 1 Hour Today

Many will tell you there is no way to rank number one for a keyword in just a few minutes but I did it not once but 4 times today.

Am I a SEO master? I like to think I am pretty good but I didn't write any seo content to accomplish this task.

Did I use the latest greatest software? I solemnly swear I didn't even crank any of my bots up today.

Would you believe the keywords I ranked for are pointed to a squeeze page with only a headline, 4 bullet points, and a sign up form?

I tackled on keyword at 9 am and was at number one by 9:20. Two more were finished by 1 pm. The last one admittedly took a little longer as I just got this one to number one.

Are you ready to buy the WSO yet? No need to .. I am giving you the secret free .. no opt in required.

These keywords were not in the IM field. Combined estimated daily searches a little over 4300.

How did I do it?

I did some keyword research early this morning. Once I got my list ready I run the terms in Google and went to the number one spots, found a contact us page and sent a personal email to each owner.

They were running adsense on each of the blogs I targeted. I simply ask the owner if they would be interested in me paying them 25% more a day than they were making with adsense.

Now I would like to tell you I got a deal with everyone I contacted .. I didn't.

Some answered no, some didn't answer at all. Some answered they were making like $500 a day with adsense .. who knows they might be.

But so far 4 have answered yes. 3 of the sites are costing me less than $7 a day and I agreed to a three day test.

One site cost me $21 a day. I committed to two days with this one. It was actually the first one I activated today and it has already produced 17 signups and 4 entry level sales and one upsale. It is all I can do to keep myself from contacting that site owner right now and locking the site up for a while but ...

If I do that they will understand it's true value to me and the price of eggs will go up. My next offer to them will be an instant pay JV on the offer that is converting pretty decent.

That will make them a lot more than $21 a day and not cost me anything out of pocket.

The other three sites will start my media tomorrow.

Some work smart. Some work hard. I found doing both works pretty good for me.

Did you purchase a regular banner spot or a text link ad? Is the product your marketing your own or is an a affiliate offer? Which affiliate network are you using?

Who told you banners are useless?

This is not in the IM niche. People are not nearly as ad blind out there lol. Way too soon to tell but for today .. the banner actually outperformed the text ads but that may be the banner is great or my text copy missed ... time and test will tell.

Banner and text. It is a squeeze page offering a free physical product I have access to. Not an affiliate link.

This is a great share Troy, but I'm confused about this part. Do you have a physical product you acquired for free and are selling it through your squeeze page?

So you're paying them to link to your site or to point their domain name at your site or what?

I am basically paying them to take adsense off of their site for the test period and replacing it with my ads.

Did you rent their websites? You'll reconstruct their website to an opt-in page or you'll redirect the homepage to an opt-in page? Please explain more

    Is it really works?

I think SEO is a time consuming mater, Google needs time to backtrack your all backlinks.

Now I would like to tell you how smart I am .. super marketer and all but ...

Mike Hill hints about it a little here and there if you follow his post. I keep waiting for that one to come out.

Jason Parker pretty well spelled it out in a post about list building here a couple of weeks ago. I just followed what he said to do.

Nice work. I think they call this media buying don't they?

How does it compare cost-wise with just using adwords directly.

Honestly I don't know because this is a brand new niche for me. I know I spent $21 today and made $73 on the one site.

    Nice work Troy.

This is a common technique used within the SEO industry.

Interestingly enough, last night I thought "Bugger it, Im going to email a few of these site owners and ask for a link" (They too were all first page for one of my target keywords)

I think I sent 4 emails. (it was late, just before heading off to bed) So far Ive had 2 replies. Both look promising.

    Either way Im not fussed.

Im putting this down as a simple test, to get a feel for responses, and to see if its possible to "rank well via association" (even if it means reciprocal linking)

Honestly I sent out over 20 emails today for different keywords. Not copy and paste either.

Reciprocal links won't work for me because I am going to a straight squeeze and offer no seo value back.

Why dont you setup PPC campaigns if you know your offer makes more then the cost of it. Now you're off a little cheaper as the Adsense advertiser gets 60-65% + the extra 25% that you offer so that's 85-90% then Adwords PPC cost. But with Adwords you can also get it for cheaper based on how high you want to be showed in the listings. Oh maybe I'm totally off with the math here as I have no clue whats the conversion rate of your ads compared to the conversion of his previous Adsense ads.

Maybe you are doing ppc already and want more exposure?

Because I will not have any money out of pocket with these ads in time. I set the site owner up as a jv partner and give them 25 to 50% on a product an affiliate would get the same commission on..

With adwords I am competing with everyone else for the placement. This way I am not competing with anyone .. my ads are all that is there.

Troy, that's a very innovative approach. It is certainly thinking outside the box. And just when I was beginning to think there was nothing new under the sun!
