Not too bad, just make sure you spin the article by hand - meaning every version must be readable. your strategy does however only give you two types of links - web 2.0 links and article directory links. If you are targeting a difficult keyword, you will need more diversity - maybe a few videos, doc sharing sites, blog networks etc etc...

Also, to "beef up" your web2.0 properties, you might want to add ,some pics and maybe embed a video or two - this way the web2.0's have better quality content and your links will mean more

Yes, but plain synonym level spinning doesnt. You must practically rewrite the article within the spin, so spin at paragraph level, then sentence level, then word level.

Then of course, the spun version must be gramatically correct and readable. So if you spin something like:

      I would love to eat a {apple|banana}.

      This might end up:

I would love to eat a apple.

Which then would throw a red grammar flag, and give away that your using spun content. So do instead:

      I would love to eat {an apple|a banana}.

Make sense? It's now more important than ever to put effort into your spinning.

My two cents: use unique articles each time.

Submit guest posts to relevant blogs as well.

Spinning is a bad idea. I give your plan a 2 out of 10. You'll be better off just rewriting the article by hand and ignoring the spinning.

Damn, you're giving him a 2 out of 10 just cause he brought up the idea of spinning? Cut him some slack man.

      I'll give you 7/10 just don't spin =).

Guys spinning works, just not automated spinning! I just spin at word level, and make sure the content stays grammatically correct, and and see pretty good results in the SERPS

I don't spin, so take my comment with a grain of salt, but even if I did what you say, I would write an original title and try to restructure the first paragraph beyond merely spinning at the word level.

Thats pretty much exactly what i do with the title. In fact I always write 3 separate titles, then spin each individually - and then finally spin them together. So in the end, the titles always stay pretty unique

Emmm.. Sounds like link wheeling or say link pyramid with a little twist. I don't think there is any harm of employing this strategy. But make sure, the quality of content you are writing is should be good and spinning into another language is absolutely fine with Google.
