Adsense - Blocking Low CPC's and Keeping High?

I've been researching blocking some low CPC ads that get revolved thru my website and want to block all the low CPC ads that make me little to $0.

However I did notice that some advertising domains have ad campaigns that have very high CPC ads and very low CPC ads. Is is possible to just block the low ones and keep the high ones from the same domain?

I've been just putting the domain name url (ex. Google) in the "urls to block" box and I was under the impression that it blocked all urls from that domain, High CPC and Low CPC.

If I put in only the exact url of each low CPC ad (ex. www.google.com/syndication/adsnetwork/cg... will it still allow the high CPC google ads to come through? Or will it still block every ad from my example - google.com?

Thanks!

  • Hello buddies, is this feature really available?

    Well, i doubt much.

I don't see any reason why you should bother yourself about blocking low CPC when in the real sense they can add up to your ad sense income.

    Here is my advice.

When doing your keyword research, ensure you only pick keywords with high CPC and you will earn a higher income from that keywords. Others ofcourse will just be like bonus because its natural to receive traffic from different keywords you never planned for.

    • Its totally possible! Adsense allows you to block urls of ads that you want to, however the question is

"Is it possible to keep the high cpc ads from a domain and block the low cpc ads from the same domain?"

      Thanks!
  • Adsense actually allows you to block a specific directory of a URL if required.

It is not necessary you ban Google.com

    You can rather ban Google.com/Mail
