Just got this email.

Hi,

We have just released Authority Link Network 2.0,
here's the list of the changes that we made:

- up to 30% of your distributed article will not
contain backlinks (to avoid footprints)

- added mass article adding and scheduling feature,
now you can mass submit or mass schedule the same
articles up to 5 times by using these features

- we are now hiding confidential information like
the number of total ALN blogs, etc

- article titles that have more than 20 words in
it's final spun format will be automatically rejected

- added duplicate content prevention feature, now
your spun articles can only be submitted up to 5 times
by using the mass article adding or mass scheduling feature,
don't submit it multiple times without using these
features, because we will detect it as a duplicate

- added mass blog importing and editing

- added chart for user's post PR distribution

Please report back to us if you've found any bugs
and error in ALN 2.0, so we can solve it asap

IM Powerhouse Help Desk

We hope with these changes it will help lowering the
blog de-indexing rate.

Cheers,

Maulana T

My question is, are they idiots or just rip off artists?

Any public network that accepts spun content and allows "anyone" to join can easily be compromised at any moment. If Google's current warpath is any indication, I would be very surprised if ALN 2.0 had any long lasting success.

It's really not that hard to expose a public network.

Ps. I know that these networks claim to be "private." But I'm not sure how they got away with that. They have "private ownership," but they are mostly open to anybody. Including the big bad Google.

    Hi Maulana!

I thought ALN would be back in 3-4 hours, As you can see, the site is up but when we try to submit we get this "page not found" notice. I hope you guys fix this ASAP. Thank you!

They are totally insane at ALN

You can't submit the same article twice they say. Yeah got a point there, but what they do, they compare the articles with the spintax included. So 2 heavily paragraph/sentence/word level spins are shown as 100% identique.

And to make it more unique what do they suggest????

To use the FREAKING AUTO SPIN FEATURE from The Best Spinner.

Are they crazy??? They want to improve the quality of the network and suggest people to use auto spin features that produce total garbage opposed to high quality multi level, very readable, 800% unique content that I produce.

Really unbeleivable, man am I pissed off.

I agree with you completely. I'm all for "gaming the search engines." But do they really think that Auto-spinning is still a lucrative strategy.

The REAL truth is that you need to ADD VALUE in your search engine manipulation tactics. Build a network of sites with decent content, and google will have no reason to deindex them. Even if they are primarily designed to build authority.

In reality Google really wouldn't care as much if these networks were actually adding value to the search results.

Agreed, I saw a seo company in my country making small Marketplace kinda sites, like eBay but then without auctions, that is a great way to have links to all kind of products on 1 site. So instead of writing articles they made product descriptions and added a link to the product/salespage.

Since everyone is into selling that would be an awesome way, feature 10 products on the homepage and put everything in appropriate categories. Who cares that we might need 2000 categories. It can't be that hard can it?

Yeah maybe it is too hard now that I think about it cause we're talking about 10.000+ sites that would all have the same category stuff, at least thats my idea when I start my own small network. Hell I could even charge real visitors to put their real products on my site with a website link, or free without a website link and without being featured on the homepage obv.
