Should you delete your BMR links?

Now that the entire BMR network has been de-indexed and they are providing their users with the option to delete all the links that you have built using their network, I was wondering should you do this, the reason I am asking is because I think I have read somewhere if Google send you a letter about detecting unnatural backlinks that you shouldn't remove them, which should you do?

Many thanks in advance,

If their whole network is de-indexed like they say, you have nothing to lose, and a great potential to gain. De-index'd links aren't giving you anything.

Yes, i would, absolutely no good can come from being associated with this network at the moment.

I'm not a member of any backlinking networks but I suspect you'll be closing the door after the horse has bolted. If you are worried that G will use the info to deindex your own sites then they already have that information and removing links now won't make much difference. google isn't the only search engine - there may still be some minor value in the links for other SE's.

Didn't think about this one. I went ahead and deleted links on test sites to see what happens first.

+1 - Google already has all the info and if they want to use it then they most likely will regardless of if you remove the links after the fact.

I would do it. Take the content that's no longer indexed and repackage it for other uses.

Sorry I meant to write your instead of you in the title, yeah I am not really sure why you would want to keep them, I am sure that is one network of sites that will stay de-indexed but like I say I just remember reading somewhere not to delete backlinks, maybe because it is viewed as an admission of guilt or whatever who knows?
