I am writing an article for a coupon site (for example) and I have 3 to 8 keyword phrases I am targeting that all have the word "coupons" in them. If I use all eight phrases, it will appear that the term "coupons" has been stuffed in the article. I understand that because of that, the term "coupons" will most likely not rank (and that is ok, it's too tough anyway). My question is: Will the fact that the term "coupons" is overly used affect my ranking for the long tail keywords that I want to rank for such as "how to use coupons" or "use coupons properly" or "we use coupons" since each of these keywords will only be used in the article once each?
