SO FRUSTRATING!!

Internet Explorer shows me at first place of organic results for my keyword.

Chrome shows me as ranked fifth. My smartphones browser shows me as fifth too, as does my friend in another city.

Market Samurai doesn't show me as ranked on the first page at all.

My site is ranked first in Mozilla on my housemates computer.

Note I am NOT logged into my Google account on IE or on my housemates computer.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Please help!

No I don't think so browser matters a lot, which software are you using to check rank??

Rankings can vary depending on what database you are connecting to.

For example hypothetically someone accessing Google from Chicago may have different results then someone accessing Google from Los Angeles. (though it shouldn't vary greatly).

Same with your phone. If it is accessing a different Google database then your computer, this could effect the rankings as well.

The serp are very different in each pc.

For check manually your position you have to do research with a browser that you don't use.

For exaple I normally use firefox for work, for check the ranking I use IE.

The reason is that the cache, the cookie can modify the serp.

There are a hundred of other reason but this two can put your site in #1, when in reality your site is in #20
