Welcome to the sandbox!

Hy there!

I was yesterday wondering, why my article directory crushed with the visitor numbers.
Today if found out: I am sandboxed. So is now the whole work with the site lost?
The problem with an article directory is, that it could have double content. So what i did from the beginning on, was installing wp-unique. Right now i am thinking, that this could also cause the problem, if google dont likes wp-unique, but i am not sure.

There was no extreme link building in the last time (honestly i dindt build any links at all in the last time), so it couldnt come from that.

Any ideas, what to do?

Should i just delete everything, and start something else (me adsense account allready got also suspended, were i lost some money, but that was because of a click bomber, which clicked one banner 200 times in one hour. I removed the adsense code, and told them, to take the $2 off my account , because one click was 1 cent).

I am so frustrated right now, and pretty close to delete everything and start something new, but the domain is than still sandboxed.

Best regards

Tobias

  • I don't know what you should do next. I would suggest you stop doing whatever's getting you busted though.
  • Banned
The click bombing probably contributed to the sandbox affect being initiated. Google is not quick to forgive and forget people they feel are cheating their system. Might be your best bet to start over with something else.
  • There is no way to my knowledge to KNOW you are 'sandboxed' . It could be a number of factors. Google has said they change and test their algorithm up to 2 times PER DAY. They use the 'sandbox' for certain 'tests' from various search results. I think people just like to say their site is sandboxed without really know the truth of what happened. It could be some sort of sandbox test or Google Dance. The only way to tell is to let some time go by and then see what happens.

    • The reason why i said sanboxed is, that 2 days ago, there were over 20K pages of my site in the google index. Today: 0

I am completly out of google, like it soenst exist anymore.

I will wait now a week if something happens, but i dont really think so. Than i have to delete everything. It breaks my haert, because this is the first page of mine (and as of now the only one) which actually made money (even that it was only $250 in 4 month) and went in alexa under the 300K.

So i have to look for something else what i can do to hopefully earn some money sometimes

Thanks for the replys and best regards

  • You didn't say how old your site is, could it be you site has moved down the rankings because the Google honeymoon period is over?

You know that Google clicks all your Adsense clicks, you would not get paid for 200 clicks from the same IP nor would get banned especially if you notified them as you should do with any abnormal activity.

BTW I might think twice about having this on an Adsense site... I think you may find G takes a dim view of backlinking services and software that game their search results.

Get Tons of Links with BacklinkTopia Getting Backlinks for a website is a very time consuming and boring thing to do. If you dont like that, you can maybe outsource it, or what is most of the time cheaper get some software to do that. But there are som much programms out in the field, and a good part of them, ... (more...)
  • So the site started on 2011/07/28 while the domain is now over 4 years registered (didnt use it first).

As this with the clicks happened: I was watching my adsense account at 8pm on my iphone, with the normal clicks, and as i came at 11pm i had 200 clicks more. I directly informed google at 11:30pm and never get a response to that, just than 2 weeks later the suspention of my acount.

I didnt check the rankings, i checked it like: site: hxxp: / / fb9.org
Normally you see than, all indexed pages, but now it says:

    Your search - site:hxxp: / / Fb9.org - did not match any documents.

So, i would think i am out of it.

    • I used the link on your sig bar above, that must be cached.

but you are not sandboxed dude your site is DE-INDEXED that is a completely different thing altogether.

You must have done something you shouldn't or got some dark hat stuff going on.

If you can undo what caused the de-indexing you may submit the site back to Google for re-inclusion, usually takes a couple of weeks before you get a reply, if they refuse to re-instate your site, you might as well forget it and move on.

Build another site using the same content but don't redirect the old domain to it.

  • Yes, if all your pages are gone, im afraid this is no Google dance nor a sand box issue. Any warnings up in webmaster tools?

    • Yes there is a warning:
Dear site owner or webmaster of Fb9.org,
We've detected that some of your site's pages may be using techniques that are outside . If you have any questions about how to resolve this issue, please see our for support.

I am still trying to figure out, what causes it.

  • I think you got deindexed because of the links, Google adsense is different than Google index, each service is managed by their own teams and do not effect each other, alot of people got banned from adsense and they are still in Google so its the links you have built.

Looks like Google found your site linked from a network that they caught so they deindexed you, it might be the links you have built or someone blasted your site with links , I think someone got you banned because you said you had 200 clicks in 1 hour so someone is trying to ban u.

The problem is nobody knows if Google will ban you if your competitors blasted your site with links or they found your links in a private network directory that you submitted your links to or someone did...
  • The problem with article directories like that is you're going to get spammed with bad links as people backlink their backlinks. Plus most of the submissions are going to be badly spun or even duplicate content.

I like playing with article directories to test things, but I'd never put Adsense on one. That's just asking to have your account banned.
  • For instance, look at the "Lose Face Fat" article in recent articles. Search for a portion of the text. There's 64 exact replicas of that article on other article directories out there, it's not even spun.

Google doesn't want that kind of site in their index, it's just duplicate content.

    • Thats what i thought and why i had the wp unique, since i thought, it would help me with something like that. I knew that most articles get send out to more than one article directory (see the most software who does it).
  • I dont really think so, because i was reading now a lot in the internet, were people had the same message. The difference is, if it about links, than it would say something like:
Than it would mention the links.
The only things what i have found now, were people had the same message were:
    - content related (unreadable spun content or by using feeds from other sides)
    - keyword stuffing (i dont know, if the tags count into that, but they are 283K over all 20K articles due to the fact, that they all have a different topic)

So it really is content related in my opinion.

Should consider to delete all the articles (because reading over all of them would take me month to find the unreables, and start with something else.

    • I think that's your best option. Put a clean Wordpress install with "Hello World" still on it. Hook it into Webmaster Tools, and ask for reconsideration. Tell them you are starting a new site. I've gotten a couple domains reconsidered like that, after buying them and finding out they were deindexed even though they had been dropped. They usually will give a new site the benefit of the doubt.

  • The first thing that comes to mind when I see fb9.com is something to do with Facebook or football. Review of your top 9 Facebook apps, or futbol teams... or whatever interests you.

    • Really good ideas!

I will start working on it tomorrow, and do some brain storming in the airplane (have to fly tomorrow so much time to think about).

      Thank you for that!

  • To avoid the adsense problem (click bomber), you should get one of those programs that allows you to put a cap on how many times 1 person can click on your adsense ads. All you have to do is put up a simple code on your website, and it will be applied to all of your pages that you have adsense on.
  • one of the most important way to get out of sandbox is post unique content on your site, try to get some quality backlinks daily, and one more important thing don't get backlinks from the sites that have low traffic rank and penalized...
  • I had 5 sites deindexed in the past 2 days with WpUnique plugin installed.

Looks like Google has figured out WPunique and theres going to be a lot of websites getting deindexed this week.

Heres the message they sent me:

    -----------------------------------------------------------

    Dear site owner or webmaster,
