Has anyone seen this

Google is showing paid ads in the number 1 position but the ads say not sponsored by google does anybody know what this is

    • well when i was typing lets say nike shoes a web page would come up above nike that says ads not by google anyway i found out it was a virus called codec-c i have removed it if anybody else has this problem pm me and i will help you through it
  • Not a virus. Mine just says "Ads" as well. (Using Ubuntu & Chrome.)
  • As long at they say it's an ad I'm pleased

    • it says ads not by google and it is a virus you can google it to find more about it
