Although I rank well for most key words in my field, I notice that many of those that are ranking ahead of me use these types of websites (see below:

rcuv.net

It's basically a collection of articles that have nothing to do with each other, with, of course, links to websites.

Are these the types of websites Google is going after? Or are they safe?

    Yes, that is/was part of a backlink network.

    Notice the site is deindexed in Google SERPs.
  • Ah. Ok. I notice that one of the websites I was checking uses a lot of these. I guess that site will take a hit.
