How does he/she do this?

Hello,

I found a site that's doing very well for a key word phrase I'm interested in. I did a search on the links pointing to their site and I found all these links were coming from blogs and I have no idea how this person get them. I don't want to say what the site is for privacy purposes I guess...

I just can't figure out how this person is getting these posts on these blogs with links pointing to their site... If you have any ideas and want to PM me or just post here I would really appreciate it. I can also send the link if you PM me.

The blogs look like they are independently owned...I could be wrong...

Hey George,
There is a product out there called comment sniper. I haven't used it myself
but know of people who have used it and love it. It is free and you can find it easily by doing a google search for it by name.

The Idea behind it is that you can set it up to watch blogs for you and report to you when someone else has posted a comment on one of these blogs.
You can then go and join the conversation by commenting also and of course place a link to your site on that blog.

If your post is contributing to the conversation and blog topic you should have no problem. Just try to ad value within your post or it will be viewed as spam and deleted.

It might be more helpful to tell us if the links on those blogs are in the comments, the body of the posts, or in the sidebar links, such as in the blogroll.

Until you divulge a bit more detail, everyone is simply shooting in the dark to help you find an answer.

If i'm not mistaken, there's one program called Comment Kahua that can find blog post according to the keywords or niche.

  Why would it not be legal? If the software works as the poster advertised it, and it only finds relevant comments, then there is nothing wrong with that. (I am not familiar with the software.)
  
  The only time there is a problem is when you do mass comment spamming, and although legal, it is certainly not ethical. ;-)
