The only thing I've heard Google say about this is, "We don't comment on rumors or speculation"... or something like that.

I'm kind of looking forward to this. I've been an earlier adopter of Google+ and +1, and I have a feeling that this service will finally tie the two together properly.

The rumors are out there but I have not heard any confirmation.

It has been reported by a good source but will just wait once google pop the news.
