Is there any free tool to check the complete back links of a website? because many tools shows only first 1000 back links of a website.

site:your site name on the Google Search Engine to check backlinks..

  This won't show anywhere near the true amount of backlinks to your site. I find Google webmaster tools to be the most accurate, but obviously you can only use this to check your own sites. The free version of Traffic Travis shows backlinks to your competitors sites, and although it's not totally accurate, it gives me a rough idea..

I assume you're talking about SEO Spyglass? I have the paid version and works great, but if that isn't an option for you I hear Backlinks Checker Tool - Backlink Watch is a decent free one - but I haven't used it so I can't say.

Well, there is no third party tool which can give you accurate backlink count. And, Google webmaster allows you to check your own backlinks but you cannot check your competitors’ backlinks.

After the shut down of Yahoo Site Explorer there is probably no such tool that can check the entire and fresh backlinks of any third party site.

Yep, I'm chiming in with backlinkwatch, too. Seems like someone had another source for that though that was mentioned in a WSO about reverse engineering. Search "reverse engineering" and see if anything comes up on WF.
