A few scrapebox questions for advanced users

I've been experimenting with scrapebox and have a few questions:

1. Is there a way to filter out blogs that do not allow anchor text or a link? I'm finding that most of the sites that have high PR and low outbound links is because they don't allow links at all.

2. Is there a way to find auto approve blogs?

3. For sites that require moderation most of them will not approve a link with keyword anchor text. If we use our name there and still have a link behind it, does that link have any linkjuice even through our anchor text is off?

3. Does anyone know of a good resource for custom footprints?

    1. You can try to search for domains that have CommentLuv or KeywordLuv widget enabled (this will give you a 99% chance to find a wordpress blog that will accept links!)

    2. Yes, you should also add the date in the query. For example:

"your keyword" "March 30, 2012" and then the word "SAYS:"

This will ONLY give you a number of websites that has comments from today

    3. Nope, it will just be a backlink and it will rank for your name (which is useLESS!).. Except the fact if the page is PR4+ and has a few OBL (then it can help you increase your PR!)

4 (your question Number 3.) Are you looking for something special?

But that will also eliminate a lot of blogs that do not use that format for their comments. I wouldn't do that.

I don't hunt down autoapprove blogs anymore, but in my darker days... All you have to do is blast a bunch of sites with comments and some domain. Use ESPN or Yahoo... whatever. Then you use the link checker. The sites with a live link, you know are autoapprove.

As for your first question, you can use the Blog Analyzer addon. It will give you a pretty good idea of which sites are open for comments.

And yes, a link with just your name will pass on PR. It won't have direct ranking benefit for your targeted keyword, but if your site is designed well with good internal links, it will definitely help your overall rankings.

Thanks for the great info. I'm just getting started with scrapebox and basically wanting to use it for FINDING high PR sites that I can then have my VA's manually post to. Blogs and Forums is where I'll start I think.
