How to boost the Google keyword ranking in specific countries?

Hi all.

My site's keyword ranking in Google US is not too bad. However, US is not my target markets. My products and services are related to original car audio products, and my target markets are the developing countries like India, Pakistan, South America, etc. I found my site's keyword ranking is out of the 30 pages in Google India, so what can I do to boost the keyword ranking in my target countries?

I rely heavily on article release and press release to promote my site (free submission, I never pay for a release as I don't have any budget). Is it because those sites are mostly US sites that results in poor ranking at other countries?

If I remeber correctly you can define target countries in Google Webmaster Tools. Not sure how it affects ranking, but if it wouldn't, the setting would not make sense.

Try creating a .kml file and uploading that to your site. Have the location set as "india". It definitely helps in Google Local Listings so just may work for general SEO>

Use location modifiers in the articles.

If you have a website, buy the domain with the country extension and create a dedicated space.

i think so, may be it works sometimes. to promote keyword in specific countries we gonna work discussion forums, blogging for the specific locations, this is one of the important aspects for keyword stuffing!

This .kml file is quite new to me. I never know there is such a file. Thanks very much. I will now google what this file is and then create one.
