Does commenting on blogs which uses 'DISQUS' plugin helps?

lots of blogs have got disqus plugin installed for blog commenting..
if i comment on those blogs using my keyword and URL..will it help my seo?

  • I believe so. Google has recently stated they are now able to successfully crawl AJAX based code.

    It's nofollow but it's good to have a few high PR nofollow links as well. I always build a couple of those disqus comments to mix things up.

    • Disqus is no-follow - but the search engines can definitely read it (to check, right click on the page with the disqus comments, and view source code - if you can see the comments in the source code, so can the Googlebot).
