If you did wrong, then im sorry but that's your fault. You shouldn't have to use all kinds of crazy tools to do SEO work.

Chances are, if Google banned you, its for a pure legitimate reason.

As Josh said, you did something against the TOS, go read up and figure it out. Google isn't quick to forgive and NEVER forgets, so you might just be SOL.

If you use Scrapebox and use proxies especially purchased ones, you will be Ok. Also with purchased proxies, you can use them in many of the other "Finder" Scraper" softwares. Usually you can add them under settings.

Can't you just open a new gmail account and access adword keyword tool? I frequently access it from multiple gmail accounts when I am signed into different accounts.

And yeah, if you have sent up red alerts in their system, you are probably marked for life :/

I'm a little worried about this. I did keyword research on 25,000 keywords using Market Samurai before this block. Will they really ban me for life? I was doing legitimate keyword research

If you did enough to warrant a ban from the Keyword Tool, I would say you are probably in quite a bit of trouble. Is it a lifelong ban? You'll have to ask Google directly and hope for an answer.

Just use a different IP dude, you don't even need to login to use their adwords search. Also clear history, cache regular cookies and super cookies(flash cookies)

If you got banned from Adwords Keyword Tool... that means that you did a high amount of requests in a short period of time. Now, these bans can last anywhere from 1 hour to a full week. I have a LOT of experience when it comes to Adwords bans.. and all I can tell you is that it is not IP based *hint* *hint*.

On the other hand, when it comes to google suggestion scraping, the ban is IP (or client per IP?) based caused by the same thing >> high amount of requests in a small amount of time. I prefer to do scrapes at at least 0.4 seconds delay, at this rate the ban chance is very very low and you can scrape for days and days. The ban time from google suggests is typically 1 hour... I haven't seen any cases where it lasted more than one hour... and also it is client based, so it you got banned from IE client, then you can find out that suggests are still working on Chrome or Mozilla.

is it THAT hard to log in with another username id? and using Hotspot Shield for proxy?

hmm let me think
I am trying to think if google allows me to log in with HSS. YUP just tried it, works like a charm

getting BANNED from there is virtually impossible IMO
unless you always want to login thre with the same username

If your adword account has been banned before then you are likely to experience such issues.

You probably signed into adword account to use Google keyword tool.

Here is what to do if your adword account has been banned in the past:

1. Clear your cache/browsing history.
2. Do not sign into adword anymore to check google keyword tool thou you will miss some essential features but havle bread is better than none.

As a previous poster said it could also be the seoquake add-on or other tool getting the data from google everytime a normal search is done, which is more than google accepts. You can change the parameters to retrieved the seo data by request only. That is what seoquake team advise.

Has everyone sorted their bans/keyword tools out yet?
