Do you think that the money we spend on Adwords is worth the advertising? Have you seen some good results? I feel that advertising referral programs on Adwords can bring better results than advertising products What is the methodology you follow when marketing your products through Adwords? A sound description of the product would do I suppose. You would probably do well by selecting the right keywords too. These two hold good for advertising referral programs....?

I haven't advertised on Adwords for a while due to my account being banned during the big sweep. But when I did have an account, Adwords was by far my best ad option. The traffic was pretty much instant. It was also great quality. The volume was great. And with some optimizing, you can get a great ROI.

Most marketers like you speak very high of Adwords. It is good to hear from you that the volume and the quality of the traffic were great, I would like to try later.

Truth be told, the answer to the question in your headline is simple arithmetic. However, it's arithmetic that individual advertisers have to do for themselves.

If the returns on your advertising investment are greater than that investment, without cannibalizing methods with higher returns, the answer is "yes." If not, no.

I use adwords when I'm trying to test out a new niche. The answer to your question is it depends. If you are getting a return on your investment, then yes of coarse it is worth it. This is all going to depend on your niche and the keywords you are targeting of coarse. More info is need to say for sure, but the only way to know for certain is to test it.

This is real easy. If the money you spend on Adwords -

    - Makes you money, keep doing it.

    - Does not make you money, either stop doing it or change something to try and make it profitable.

I have used adwords to get new signups and just to get my new sites going and it has worked quite well, but you really need to know what you are doing and what is your niche and the keywords you are targeting like gasman said. But you wont really know before you try it out, few hundred dollars should give you some idea already what to expect.

For the beginning marketer, Adwords is a great platform to TEST ideas. There are tons of coupons to get started with and the platform is easy to configure. Unless you have a solid knowledge base or strategy, I WOULD NOT suggest going in and setting up any old campaign.

Adwords can make your bank account bleed. (Trust me, I know!)

In order to make something out of Adwords you need to:

        1) Choose your offers carefully! When it comes to affiliate marketers, Google has a history of being less than friendly. Their incessant algo changes scream out one thing: they want to weed you out. So to avoid getting your account banned, make sure your 'referral program' is presented well.

        2) Target the right keywords - Think like the consumer and do some solid keyword research to determine which keywords will deliver the most bang for your buck.

        3) Track your progress daily - Leaving Adwords to "do its thing" while you go gallivanting off to some other IM activity is the proverbial bullet to the foot. Don't do it. Google some PPC tracking programs and stay on top of your campaigns. Be seriously brutal about this, cutting underperforming keywords or any keywords that you determine don't lead to quality traffic.

        4) Rinse and repeat!

Hope this is of some use. I wish you a successful endeavor!
